Although the administrators and moderators of myChristianConnection.org will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and not myChristianConnection.org and will be held responsible for the content of any message or for any loss suffered from the use of this site or its services. Guests and members use this site at their own risk. 

Additionally the Moderators of these forums are non-paid volunteers; we appreciate your cooperation with them. It is important that we respect them as they attempt to maintain a safe and respectful place for all of the members of our community.

1.3 Our Vision  

Our Vision is to create a network of Christian business professions and consumers. This network would provide Christian brothers and sisters a place to connect with each other, to buy and sell goods and services. Christians would treat other Christians as they would their earthly family members and provide the same expertise and deals within a set of standards. These standards would include but not be limited to Integrity, Honesty, Fairness, and Openness. Intent to fraud or deceive someone will not be tolerated and steps will be taken to insure that each transaction is done within these conditions. Those who do not adhere to the Standards set forth will not be allowed to continue as a member of this site.

1.4 Our Mission

Our Mission to draw the body of Christ closer together in the market place and to use the finances that God has provided to bless our Christian brothers and sisters.

2. MATTERS OF FAITH

In order to be a member of this site you must agree to the statement of faith. If you do not agree to the statement of faith feel free to view our site but our desire is to create a place for people to gather who are like minded in their beliefs. Our statement of faith is as follows:

1. The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the Divine and final authority for Christian faith and life.  

2. That there is but one true God in all existence, in all places, and in all time, who is the Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons. God is a Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. That Jesus Christ is presently true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.  

4. That Jesus will return bodily to this world to fulfill His ministry and calling as God and Lord.  

5. That the Holy Spirit, like the Father and the Son, has a will, can grieve, love, hate, and is worthy of all worship and honor.  

6. That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to convict men, regenerate the sinner, indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service.

7. That man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is, therefore, lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained.

8. That the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provides the only grounds for justification and salvation for all people. This justification and salvation is obtained by grace through faith alone for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ, by faith, are born of the Holy Spirit and, thus become children of God.

9. That water baptism and the Lord's Supper are ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means of salvation or necessary for salvation.

10. That the true Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the Body of Christ of which He is the Head.

11. In the bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord; of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment which will not end.  

12. That the Lord and God possess an exhaustive foreknowledge of all things potential as well as actual and that there is nothing God does not know. 

13. That homosexuality is a sin, as are pedophilia and bestiality.

2.1 Misrepresentation of Beliefs Prohibited

you will not misrepresent your beliefs to become a member of the site.

2.2 No Blasphemy

you will not use the names or titles of God or Jesus (in any language) as expletives or interjections. You will not refer to God, Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit in a demeaning, degrading, or insulting way.

3. ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS

myChristianConnection.org is not affiliated with any denomination and therefore it is unacceptable to seek out members of a particular denomination only. We are all a part of the body of Christ and need to be treated as such.

Since our desire is to connect the body of Christ, we have no rules regulating whether or not you search for members of your local congregation, College or University.

3.2 No flaming

you will not "flame" other members or groups. Flaming includes, but is not limited to:
- Ridiculing, insulting, or demeaning another member or group;
- Ridiculing another member's beliefs;
- Ridiculing public figures important to another's religious beliefs;
- Stating or implying that another member or group of members who have identified themselves as Christian are not Christian;
- Calling or describing other people, groups, belief-systems, or ideas as heresy or a cult (or derivatives of these words). Instead of using these emotionally charged words, please state "X is wrong because of Y" rather than using these words in polemical discussion;
- Asking loaded questions that directly cause flames in response;
- Using sarcasm to attempt any of the above; and
- Threats of any sort, including advocating or supporting physical or mental harm against another living creature (this creature clause does not apply to political discussions of military action, hunting/fishing discussions nor ethical discussions of capital punishment).

3.3 No Harassment of Other Members

You will not harass or abuse other members in threads, private messages, comments, in custom titles, signatures, avatars or profiles. This includes stalking other members, both online and in real life.

3.4 No Defamation of Members or Non-Members

you will not deliberately make posts you know are untrue about any other person, whether or not that person is a member.

3.5 Obscene, Vulgar, Racist, Sexually Explicit or Illegal Posts and Links Prohibited

You will not make posts, attach or link to images, or post links to web pages that are obscene, vulgar, racist, sexually explicit or graphic, or illegal.

3.6 No Spamming

A. You will not post any messages anywhere on this site that are primarily for the promotion or advertising of any website, email address, business, MLM (Multi Level Marketing or pyramid schemes), activity, church, ministry, prophetic services or any other entities or services from which the member will receive any financial or pecuniary gain. This prohibition includes begging or soliciting donations or financial support (charitable or otherwise, for any reason) anywhere on the site including in e-mails, posts, and PMs. 

B. You will not make multiple identical or nearly identical posts.

C. You will not post external links for the purpose of promoting traffic to that site. This includes any external URL contained in automatically generated sections of posts such as signatures, avatars, and custom user titles.
