I know it has been a while, we don't have a lot of excuses, we haven't been working on the site as much as we would have liked to be. We would love to start getting some Insider Interviews from some forks to put up on the site. If you would like to write an article please contact us and put Insider Interviews in the subject line. We will need to know that you are, in fact, an expert in your field, and yes it's ok to brag about yourself a little bit. There are many things that you can do to be involved, the Member Forums, contributing to our Insider Interviews, and by adding yourself to our exclusive Member Directory. While your here enjoy the site, and let us know what you like and what we could do better. |

Many personal events have been taking place that have been requiring my attention, so things have been a little slow. I don't have an estamated time of completion for the new face or updates that I want to put in, only that they are being worked on as time is available. If anyone has any idea's they would like to see implimitented please let me know. Simplicity and usability are the keys, and you are the judge and jury. |

Well, we had a goal, our goal was to be releasing a new face to myChristianConnection.org. Is it here? Well, ... no. Sorry, we have had some very generous people volunteer to donate some time helping with out new look. We thought this was going to be done sooner, but there have been some un-forseen things come up. Our new facelift has been put on hold, we have gone back to the drawing board in hopes of making a more uniform, user-friendly site. We also have some new idea's on the horizon that will make our site even more community friendly. We look forward to hearing from you. Stay with us, give us your suggestions in the feedback forums. |

Over the past 72 hours many, I repeat many new changes have gone into effect. As always, some of these changes you will see, some you will not. All will improve the look, flow, and overall quality of the site. We are not in the business of change only for change's sake, so we must have reasons for the change. The biggest, most notable change (and by far the most time consuming) is the addition of our FAQ's page. With this new page you will now be able to access frequently asked questions (imagine that!). Other changes include: making all our blog posts uniform (with alignment, font, size, etc. it's all kinda boring really) and learning some of what not to do with html. We also linked to our Faccebook Fan Page, with this badge on our site.
The FAQ page was a very big learning experience, see I am not real good with coding, I mostly learn on the fly...well the last couple days I have been learning on the crawl. It seems that when you take a line of code out, one that you don't want, if you don't also change what the code is modifying...well it will duplicate itself. If you do it again, it will duplicate itself even more. As a matter of fact, if you do it several times, it will lgo crazy and look something like this:

Everywhere that it says <strong> or </strong> is suppose to not be there...I realize that it is hard to tell from the screen shot, but I will make it a little simpler, almost 90% of the screen is not suppose to be there. Yea, that is a lot. So the great thing is that I got to learn a lot. And certainly by putting this picture up, there are many people out there that are going to be thinking that this guy doesn't know anything about coding...so if that is you, simply send me an email at

In our never ending quest to make myChristianConnection.org the premiere online Christian Directory of Christian Business Professionals, we are realizing the importance of pictures to tell of our story. It is simply not good enough to create a website full of text. So, we have begun to create pictures for our articles, links, icons, and whatever else we can think of. We must admit, creating, editing, implementing, and perfecting images has never been our strong suite be that as it may, it is necessary.
Over the past few weeks we have replaced several rotating pictures (yep that's right, no more frogs!), placed some pictures in articles (these are a first attempt, there will be revisions), and begun to think about our stragies for some new projects that are in the works.
Such a big part of the web these days is based on a multimedia, special effects, and glamorous presentation, in order to be relevant and widely used we will need to adapt our approach a little bit (which is a focused attempt at great content and community atmosphere). We want you to let us know how we are doing and what additional things we need to implement. As always, you can leave feedback in our feedback forum here (which is open 24/7 by the way), or by contacting us here (which is also open 24/7). To prove our commitment to you I have included my picture in this post. |

So, since June is the final beat month we have been working overtime to get as many new changes implemented as possible so that when July 1st rolls around we are ready. Some of the latest and greatest improvements include: A new find us on Facebook link, new menu enhancements (though these will not be available until we come out of beta stage, a going up tracker for site statistics, new member statistics on the front page, some new menu links in the Member Directory and My Account links, and some new account features for members. There are probably some that I missed, but that's a pretty good list for now.
We are really looking for your help with improving the registration process for new members as well as Directory listings. If you have signed up recently please leave us some feedback with your ideas on how to improve the process. We are taking an entirely new approach to some things and we want to simplify the site as much as possible. You can always leave feedback in the feedback forum here, or by contacting us here. |

Well, it seems like everyday something new is happening, even if those things are always visible. We have implemented a (somewhat) new menu structure that will take out some of the confusion that people were having, and it will make the menu more efficient. We have also added a new item to the homepage that will now show you when the last time our Member Directory was updated. We have begun testing for some of the new release features, which I think you are going to like, and we have added a new verse of the day feature!
Over all there are many new and exciting changes taking place at myChristianConnecetion.org, and we hope you enjoy them. As always the entire vision, goal, and purpose of our site is to bless the Body of Christ, we appriciate any feedback you give us. You can do so by leaving feedback in the feedback forum here, or by contacting us here. |

Well, June is here, that means that our beta stage is officially half-way over. It seems like it is going fast, but we are in the middle of rapid changes so let us know what you think, we are, after all here to serve you. I hope you are checking out the Forums and accessing the Directory and that it is useful to you. |
